I'm not a fan of either the Falcons or the Patriots but I'm less of a New England fan so that's who I rooted for last night.
And I tell you, if I were an Atlanta fan of any deeper stripe I would need to be put in irons because I would have been near homicidal.
At the risk of disrespecting the honored dead on 9/11, but the collapse of the World Trade Center was more epic than the lead the Falcons blew on Sunday evening. Sad but true.
So I'm golf clapping the Patriots at this hour for not quitting and playing all 4 and 1/3rd quarters last night. As a fan of a team they beat to get to the Super Bowl, that's all the respect they get.
Plus, my team has one more title. :)
